So began my 8-year journey of transitioning out of dentistry and into my vocation of destiny. It was a long, arduous process for me, but it doesn’t have to be. My journey involved much financial planning, emotional growth, mental focus, positive expectation, and much guidance from my coach, which was more valuable than words can explain. The wisdom, experience, and clarity I gained has propelled my life forward and I eagerly anticipate having the privilege of passing it on. I have no regrets and have never been happier. I don’t miss dentistry at all, save for the occasional desire to smell Bond-1, and those few moments when my assistant and I were totally in sync, not needing to speak for hours as we perform a ballet of instrument passing while reaching a common goal. I look forward to sharing more of my story to inspire others that may be feeling overwhelmed; there are options and endless possibilities open to us all! My heart still beats for dentistry and my focus is on improving the emotional health and well-being of dentists, whether or not they choose to stay in the profession.
So very proud of you Bethany and your happiness that this has brought for you! I remember passing some of those instruments to you! I am glad that you have no regrets! Blessings!
Thank you Cindy! I remember well those days working with you…glad you were a part of it!
